Budburst was ordinary, but good rain gave this vintage in the Hunter a second chance and thankfully the Estate was spared from the widespread hailstorms that eventually created havoc. The grapes for this wine were harvested early and thus avoided the bunch rot and hail damage that was prevalent in the Valley.

The soft fruity flavours make it a most refreshing wine to accompany a seafood dish and of course to share with a friend.
