Waverley Estate is blessed with a small block of Cabernet Sauvignon, one and a half acres on limestone that is very conducive to growing Cabernet. As a result the vines perform magnificently each vintage, producing outstanding grapes that make sound wines. The 1997 Cabernet Sauvignon is a beautiful red wine with vibrant berry fruit flavours. Bright and ruby red in colour, it will complement any meat, especially venison, lamb, beef and steak and kidney pie.
